Jared's Most Current Charity Work:

On Thursday, March 27th Renee Zellweger and George Clooney visited Greenville to receive the keys to the city revolving around the movie Leatherheads which they filmed together and will be premiering April 4th, 2008.

A local artist, Jared Emerson had the opportunity to meet with Renee who authorized Jared to portray her likeness on canvas. Once Jared completed his rendering he met with Renee once again to approve of the work and endorse the piece. 

The painting is a 30 x 40 oil on canvas which portrays Renee in character for her leading role in Leatherheads. The painting has been donated by Jared Emerson to benefit the Children’s Museum of Greenville, South Carolina. The piece will be available for viewing and will be auctioned Friday, April 4, 2008 during the premier located at Hollywood 20.  Bids are currently being submitted online via e-mail through YourCarolina with Jack and Kimberly's website at www.yourcarolina.tv or www.thejaredcollection.com. The museum is hoping to raise in excess of $10,000. bids starting at $5,000.  Donations may also be submitted online with much appreciation.
